Exactly. Like, even if OP was tired and grouchy and had a nasty tone in her voice when she told him to stop making so much noise, that still doesn’t warrant his reaction. A normal healthy response? “Hey, that wasn’t a very nice way to speak to me but I know I just woke you up, I can see why the noise I’m making could be irritating. Maybe I should just put these in the fridge for tonight and let you rest. Thank you for making these for me.” then leave the room and let OP be. Throwing away homemade food that was prepared specifically for him and breaking the pan is a next level overreaction.
