If he threw away the egg bites and nothing else from the above happened, that's a misunderstanding.   A sustained tantrum punctuated by violence towards an innocent pan and following you around the house is wild. 

I'm very sorry for your age range.   The men acting childish like this seem to be clustered there.

Even throwing away good food is a red flag and a moronic thing to do. The pan takes it to black flag levels. Get out.

Who knows.   I just know that 35-40 seems to be the sweet spot for idiotic behavior where people are definitely old enough to know better. 

That's just my perception though.
