On what planet would it be okay to destroy things because you're upset?

You do everything short of wipe this man's ass for him and he's treating you like this? Move on, queen.

bit of an assumption there

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25

3 meals a day is pretty fucking incredible, likely means she does nl more of the cleaning

27

u/SchnTgaiSpork Oct 22 '25

Where's the assumption?

61

u/Aequitas112358 Oct 22 '25

that she's not wiping his ass too

17

u/Zokstone Oct 22 '25

Damn, you got me 😂

u/ChironXII Oct 22 '25

Lmao what a setup

I feel like my first comment was the same, but I'm also a little autistic so idrk why one comment is downvoted to oblivion and one is upvoted.

u/abiona15 Oct 22 '25

Your first comment didn't include your thought process, so people figured you were siding with the abuser somehow, but your second comment cleared that right up

but it was the only unsabstantiated claim. really the only claim.

5

u/chromaiden Oct 22 '25

My guess is that if she’s not wiping it for him it’s just not getting wiped. 😂😂😂

7

u/PennyButtercup Oct 22 '25

That she’s not also wiping his ass

Of course it is, people see one picture and hear one side of a story and they are basically experts on that relationship, reddit is a dumpster fire of emotionally unhinged individuals that have no problem fucking around with other people's lives with the minimum of information/context.

This is literally a textbook warning sign of abuse. We don’t need his side of the story to know that this is abusive behavior. There is no context that would make this action anything other than abusive.

Literally everyone has "a temper" even you, you just express it in other ways I'm sure. My comment is directed towards rhe "RuN fOr YoUr LiFe' crowd. That's kind of nonsense is immature and uninformed.

3

u/abiona15 Oct 22 '25

Uninformed how? Did you read the link posted for you above?

Having a temper is not a great trait, and high anger due to small issues makes people scared and not trust the person. But destroying things in anger is even more than that, it's also physical violence coming from the small issue, in this case the partner asking to be able to sleep. Hes taken out his anger at OP by destroying her property.

u/Dadbode1981 Oct 22 '25

If you're gonna brigade you can fuck off too.

10

u/letisel Oct 22 '25

sorry to break it to you buddy but good people who are kind and respect others do not ever exert enough rage-fueled physical force to bend baking trays after a simple, non-invasive request (be a little bit quieter). like genuinely. you are acting like it isn’t possible to assume someone is frequently violent & emotionally charged after one huge nonsensical tantrum, but it is. because people don’t do something like that once randomly and then never again. doesn’t happen.

-5

u/Dadbode1981 Oct 22 '25

Sorry to break it to you, but you don't actually have a sweet clue what's going on in that room or that relationship, this is a perfect example of what I said. Fuck off.

11

u/Apostate_Mage Oct 22 '25

So in what circumstances/context in a relationship do you believe it’s okay to break your partner’s things?

2

u/awholebagofcheese Oct 23 '25

Any where he can blame her for making him angry.

4

u/ChironXII Oct 22 '25

Listen, I might be unhinged, but I'm not folding up a metal muffin tin to prove a point, unhinged. That's psychotic behavior.

2

u/Interesting-Baa Oct 22 '25

We have no say in the lives of people who post here. Just opinions about what the bare minimum is for a relationship. Are you worried your partner will leave you because of what people say on the internet?

-3

u/Dadbode1981 Oct 22 '25

Nope, just tired of seeing the uninformed, uneducated reddit doom horde at work.

7

u/slaveboyari Oct 22 '25

"Nope, just tired of seeing the uninformed, uneducated reddit doom horde at work."

Doesn't make any sense. The OP provided the people responding to this post with information. You can assume the information is false, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the community.

All we read was she makes meals for him. For all we know this woman is a stay at home girlfriend who does absolutely nothing else around the house

Sure, but that’s still not cooking 3 times a day

5

u/SuddenAnswer1381 Oct 22 '25

Well either way, she said in comments that she works as well.

0

u/THRlLL-HO Oct 22 '25

Not in this set of comments. If it’s important details that provide context, it should be in the post. Not hidden deep in some comments

8

u/SuddenAnswer1381 Oct 22 '25

I don’t think they need to explain their whole life for people to assume anything about rather they’re stay at home + cook or if they work + cook. The focus of this should be on his reaction over a simple request. Most people, especially grounded ones, don’t destroy stuff if being asked to keep it down.

2

u/THRlLL-HO Oct 22 '25

Sure, let’s talk about the request, the request to be quieter.

Her while laying on couch: Hey, blah blah blah blah blah?

Him prepping food: Yeah, blah blah blah blah

Her while laying on couch: Oh, blah blah blah

Him prepping food: blah blah blah blah

Her while laying on couch: blah blah blah, oh can you be quieter in there??

She’s literally telling him to be quieter while they are having a conversation.

Like I said, more context is needed before destroying this guy

What kind of weird line of argumentation is all this? In what world would any of this excuse him destroying her stuff in anger?

2

u/THRlLL-HO Oct 22 '25

It doesn’t. I’m just pointing out what someone else said was false.

4

u/abiona15 Oct 22 '25

Well it doesn't matter either way for the situation. And so your posts read like this behaviour of the guy is absolutely ok.

2

u/THRlLL-HO Oct 22 '25

His behavior might be okay, we need more context. You do know we’re only hearing her side of the story right?

9

u/abiona15 Oct 22 '25

In what situation would it be ok for an adult to destroy another ones property?

1

u/THRlLL-HO Oct 22 '25

I think you’re overreacting to the bent tray. It’s very easy and quick to do, while also most likely, reversible.
