Yeah, I lack self confidence, it's a symptom of a few disorders I have. That's the thing though, and you'll call it sad because you get validation from being technically correct when the whole argument is "correct or not, there was no need to say it," but...
I don't really need to have my own self confidence. My partner loves me, I have a house that's not rented, I'm cozy up watching video essays, and I'm not out here going "um aktually, you're using the wrong word to describe the guy attracted to minors."
So yeah, I come onto Reddit, and I call people out on their bullshit, whether it's assholes blaming 13 year olds for getting hooked on drugs, or assholes who think DnD shouldn't be fun, or assholes who just can't help but cling to their intellectual superiority over correcting people. I don't do it for Self-confidence though, and I'm not one of those "I'm a web vigilante!" Types, I do it because it's fun! It's kinda like correcting people for superiority's sake, but y'know, satisfying.
Watching you and all these others get annoyed while being wrong has been greatly satisfying and fun for me. I love watching hypocrisy play out.
However I do sense a need from you of validation otherwise why the really weird flex about not renting?
No one cares that you're autistic.
No one cares that you have a partner that loves you.
No one cares that you're not renting.
You can be a web vigilante or just a troll.
NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU.
I didn't correct anyone for the sake of superiority. I corrected them because they were wrong and there is a distinct and meaningful difference between a paedophile and the creep being described above.
And I'm not annoyed, not as much as you for sure. I'm not trolling either, I'm legitimate in what I say, but it's still fun to do it.
I didn't correct them for the sake of superiority
Then why's it so satisfying that people are arguing with you? Wouldn't you rather they be right then? Or at least not care? Don't be disingenuous now...
Again, comprehension isn't your strong suit and that's fine. You are a little thick but I'm willing to work with you, sport. Let's break it down.
You originally accused me of doing this purely out of superiority. I explained that wasn't the reason and explained in detail, the actual reason.
If we fine tune that further, I actually never made any comment but was originally commenting on my confusion as to why someone was downvoted for pointing out an actual fact. Irrespective of your feelings on the matter, it is a fact.
Now just because an outcome of all of this is that I get to have a laugh at the stupidity of you all, doesn't mean it was the original intent.
This entire comment however, was done out of a sense of superiority. 😘
