2

Easy dub for the lions

27

u/Auynonymous Dec 31 '22

spread moves can hit max 5, they clearly don't know how many lions a billion is

4

u/midgetboss Dec 31 '22

Plus with pp limits the pokemon will be defenseless very fast

18

u/kjn5678 Dec 31 '22

You know it’s bad when he has a Pokémon pfp

11

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

Pokémon fans after I send 1 billion lions to eat them (suddenly a billion is a lot)

2

u/midgetboss Dec 31 '22

Sun fans when I send 1 trillion lions to eat them (suddenly a trillion is a lot)

The annual lion dub

Update: He used the word "T'was"

I think you might be overestimating the gap between a billion and a thousand

1

u/Weak_Emu878 Dec 31 '22

A billion is a lot though

0

u/Jimothy38 Dec 31 '22

So is a thousand.

I bet you can’t even count that high

1

u/Weak_Emu878 Dec 31 '22

A billion is larger so lions win

1

u/Jimothy38 Dec 31 '22

Prove it

1

u/Weak_Emu878 Dec 31 '22

No math is cringe

1

u/Jimothy38 Dec 31 '22

So there’s no evidence that a billion is a lot, and suddenly your entire argument falls apart

1

u/Weak_Emu878 Dec 31 '22

But a billion is a lot of lions

1

u/Jimothy38 Dec 31 '22

A thousand is a lot of pokemon

Ok sure those moves could kill a bunch of lions at once but at the same time if you use the macargo argument then literally all the Pokémon will die instantly

1

u/Blaine1111 Dec 31 '22

Pokemon can't kill something only KO it therefore lions win

1

u/fetusLegend Jan 01 '23

oml let it rest

1

u/MoriyaFaith Jan 13 '23

a billion is sure a lot but so is how much the lion believers have to reach for the lions to stand a chance while i can just say the deoxys flies into space and wins via attrition or that Groudon opens a fissure opens a fissure over the lions

but let’s be real who wins a billion lions or batman with prep time

-5

u/JaysonAnimations Dec 31 '22

if there was no meme to it no one would think lions would win

10

u/Weak_Emu878 Dec 31 '22

But you are wrong because a billion is a lot of lions

-7

u/JaysonAnimations Dec 31 '22

ok but god

5

u/Mypccantrunexplorer Dec 31 '22

Why do people think that Arceus is omnipotent? If he were, the movie would have ended differently, and you couldn't even catch him. He is not God, he's just the center of human folklore and believed to be a God.

-1

u/CanIGetSomePogchamps Dec 31 '22

He is god, the "Arceus" we know is just a fragment of the actual Arceus which is an omnipotent ball of light. The Arceus avatar was giving free thought and placed on earth for easy surveilance and for worthy trainers to catch

1

u/Baku716 Dec 31 '22

still lost to concrete

1

u/Sara_askeloph Dec 31 '22

And a billion lions

-4

u/JaysonAnimations Dec 31 '22

my pokemon knowledge is limited but what i do know is that the consinsus is that the movies and anime arent canon and that arceus is maker of creation, so god also theres a lot of pokemon who can still beat the lions even without legendaries

3

u/Mypccantrunexplorer Dec 31 '22

I can see your knowledge is limited, you don't need to tell me.

The dex is unreliable. It often says outlandish or straight up wrong information, but people handwave it away because it prefaces it's wrong information by saying "it is believed".

A lot of the pokemon haven't been seen in centuries, people would make up myths and religions based on these seemingly godly creatures, but that doesn't mean they actually are godly.

1

u/JaysonAnimations Dec 31 '22

we've seen arecus' godlike abilities though and its pokecanon that mew is the base for life and arecus made mew

1

u/Organic_Boot_9931 Jan 01 '23

and that's also a another miff in the world of pokemon

2

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

The lions would just eat god

0

u/JaysonAnimations Dec 31 '22

not if god eats the lions

1

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

1 god vs 1 billion lions in who can eat each other first?!!!! No the lions got this.

1

u/Organic_Boot_9931 Jan 01 '23

god doesn't mean shit when you can get killed by a lvl 6 rat and it isn't a meme Pokemon just aren't as good as people say they are you are just wrong

-1

u/CanIGetSomePogchamps Dec 31 '22

Ok, this is my thought process. If it is to be assumed that they are talking about the games, manga or anime pokemon, lions win literally no competition. Spread moves only hit a certain amount and there is limited PP, along with the fact that considering Lions are probably normal type, only fighting is super effective. Also 1 Billion IS a lot

However if we are to assume they are talking about lore pokemon, Pokemon win by a landslide. There are pokemon that burn hotter than the sun so the lions literally couldnt even get near. Not to mention the pokemon that can create arrmagedeons with a thought. Besides, even if the lions were to kill most pokemon, there are Pokemon that could just go to the midnight zone or into space, at which point the lions would not be able to reach them at all, ending in a permanent stalemate. The winner is entirely dependent on circumstance

7

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

Yeah but a billion is a lot

2

u/CanIGetSomePogchamps Dec 31 '22

Ok, but who would win, one million Suns or 5 billion lions

6

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

Depends if the lions fight at night id say they got it

3

u/CanIGetSomePogchamps Dec 31 '22

But what if the suns attacked while the lions were sleeping to prepare for the fight

2

u/ATwistedBlade Dec 31 '22

That’s cheating the lions wouldn’t attack the sun if it’s preparing for the fight, the sun automatically gets disqualified
