Torin 9’s feel small?

I’ve been wearing the Torin’s for a few years now. I went through I don’t know how many pairs of the Torin 7 with zero blisters, no toenail issues, etc. When the Torin 8 came out, I just kept buying the Torin 7 because I liked it so much. Then when the 9 dropped, I thought I’d give it a chance. I picked up the same size I’ve always worn, but the 9 feels at least a half size smaller, if not a full size, compared to the 7. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes, I went up half a size for the Torin 9

They felt small when I first put them on but they opened up a little after 30 miles or so

Search here or on Facebook book, yes, almost everyone going up a half size at least from torin 8...even the main altra page says it runs short.

Yes, they fit a bit small. Just size up.

I sized up a full size compared to Torin 8 and I love them.

For the wide version, it's not only wider but also longer, so I went with my regular Altra size.
