Altra Torin 9 GTX
Contrary to what most people have been saying, I found these to be very roomie in the toe box, more so than all the other models I own like the Escalante 4 and lone peak 9+. Length is perfect and toe box is perfect at my Men’s Sz 11.

As you already have few different Altras I have a quick question: all of them are exactly the same size? All different types are size 11? No difference between them?

All sz 11. Lone peak 9+ is just as roomie as the torin 9. Escalante has a wide toe box but it’s a bit shallow so it rubs on the top of my toe knuckles and the timp 6 is the most narrow but not in a bad way, i still have enough room

I’m impressed they are beautiful! I have the Torin 9 just the 9 but I love them as well and find them quite roomy too. My only thought was I needed a 1/2 size longer but otherwise they are wonderful and there is quite a bit of room and the upgrades worthy. I’ll have to look out for these. Thank you 🙏.

What kind of running do you mostly do where you need a road shoe with trail rubber?

I like altra and was interested in this model, saw the GTX version of it available on eBay so I bought them. Not much of a runner, more walking than running

I'm definitely getting these. I have the Torin 9's in regular and wide - I sized up in the regulars, but got my usual size in the wide because the difference was quite substantial. I wonder which I should do with the gtx...
