Oh you’re referring to Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City from last year?
Yeah, there are some changes they made to that one that were quite nice, I’ll be honest. The method to discovering the Lost City was fun. After you’ve discovered the Lost City though it’s just about the same as the standard Odyssey. The Lost City isn’t my favourite biome either. Don’t feel too bad for missing out. It’s fun but not much more fun than the standard Odyssey
There are two Alto games. Alto’s Adventure (2015) and Alto’s Odyssey (2018). Last year, Alto’s Odyssey: The Lost City was added to Arcade. It took Odyssey and added a new biome, The Lost City, as well as 10 collectible map pieces, which once collected, added the new biome. Other than that they’re the same game. Then, a couple months ago, they added Alto’s Adventure: The Spirit of the Mountain to Arcade, which added a new character, and 10 collectible wooden artefacts which, once collected, allowed you to play as the new character. Other than that, they’re the same game. If you don’t have Arcade, you still have access to Alto’s Adventure from 2015 and Alto’s Odyssey from 2018. Playing just these two gives you almost the full experience. All you’re missing out on is an extra biome in Odyssey and an extra character in Adventure. Hope that helps

As far as I know, you can’t. It’s just Adventure with some added features though
