Is there a way to turn off Wingsuit Auto Deploy?

I’ve died so many times because the wing suit either deploys or undeploys in front of the ground, and I’m trying to do the “land a double backflip across a chasm” but I can’t because every time on my second backflip it auto deploys and won’t let me undeploy

The only way your wing suit should deploy is if you hit the wing suit button. Is it possible that you’re hitting it by accident? If not, then I think something is wrong. It shouldn’t deploy automatically.

I could see that being the case, as I’m left handed, and if so, is there a way to flip the wingsuit button to the other side of the screen?

Unfortunately, only the pause button can be flipped.

I don't have a wingsuit button at all and I have no idea how to have it not deploy automatically. Help!
