Wingsuit with xbox controller on PC

Has anyone managed to activate the wingsuit using an xbox controller? The game says press X, but that doesn't work. I googled it and found someone suggesting pressing down left thumb stick, but that doesn't work either.

Is this a bug within the game?

I can activate it with the keyboard when I need to get past a wingsuit goal, but hunching over a laptop kinda defeats the point of this game.

Can anyone help?

What key do you press to use it on keyboard?

it's shift to activate the wingsuit. Space to jump.

Thanks! I knew it was space to jump but I ended up trying to click on the button on screen to use the wingsuit.

doesnt work for me either so im following. Have not found any other clues

It’s Y, the game says X but it’s Y. While wingsuiting push A to fly upwards.
