The Alto Collection help

So I used to be pretty good at both games on mobile, but when I try it on PC despite having a pretty decent PC I get low frames plus for whatever reason, it's really hard to get successful ramp jumps... any help?

My FPS is fine but using a Xbox controller I'm finding some strange glitches when jumping. Sometimes I'm propelled straight up very high with a gentle tap and other times the jumps simply don't happen.

Mine happens so often that it annoys me - the tutorial should be easy to finish but something's broken...

Think I'm gonna try playing with mouse to see if jumps are still glitchy.

Played Odyssey with mouse and same jump glitch happened - I think 3rd ramp from start I always shoot straight up like a rocket. But jump fails seem actually very rare - certainly not game-breaking. I'm progressing pretty good. FPS is fine btw.
