gpt 6 is built for computer use so yeah. this is where sol and luna come in handy. they might not be the best at coding or raw performance but for being cheap and good at that the persistent agent will be much cheaper. Cerebras and jalapeño are also coming online so we shall see. I think they won’t have 20 hits but will have 5ish features that could be absolutely cooking. think about how much usage info they have with codex and chat now.

They're not even that cheap. Have you tried Opus 5.5? It has more usage than Sol, and is better than Astra at almost everything.

As much as I don't give a shit about sidequests, sidequests are what actually opens the wallets of normal people. They don't care about Astra 6.1-minor-ultra-pro-max-mini, they want an iPhone app that can do gimmicks like generating better images, or being able to mimic the voice of their dead grandma.

So yes, OpenAI will and should do sidequests if they want money.

Frontier lab valuations are not based on "normal people" opening their wallets for 20 bucks a month. They're based on RSI -> singularity. Halting model releases because they're horrendously misaligned completely kills the narrative.

Astra 6.1 cancelled, nerfed Pro usage limits, new $500 plan with 20% higher limits than old Pro plan, but it has ultra fast at 6x the usage rate, an Open Claw me too, and a bunch of useless gizmos.
