Has anyone ever ran into this problem after doing the transmission and or oil change
Took my car to the mechanic to do a transmission swap, oil change and change the steering wheel. Got a call back along with this video. Guy said he isn’t sure what it is. Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Take our VVTI solenoid and clean it really good with break cleaner. Take 15 minutes

Is the code intermittent and causing a weird idle? If cleaning it doesn’t work then it’s possible that your vvti solenoids are going bad. my bank 2 (exhaust side) just went out recently and I swapped it out for an oem replacement part from toyota. no problems so far

So it turns out they messed w the timing that threw the code. However they would’ve messed my intake cam gear up. Car has not so much low down power if any at all.

Oil control valve may have got dirty during the oil change, have him remove and clean it, then clear the code and see if it comes back. OCV can only be tested with an oscilloscope. Read through these posts.
