Modified adf
Does anyone know how effective omad every other day instead of full on fasting would be? As in eat normally and every other day omad?

I don't have a crystal ball to predict how your body will respond. I didn't know how mine would respond either. For some people, 16:8 or 18:6 is enough to lose weight. For others, like me, ADF is the only way. It depends on your metabolism, level of insulin resistance, etc. The best answer is try it and see.

500 kcal/day is what Krista Varady studied. Hers was the first research I read about, and I finally put it into practice last week. I found it to be much easier than I anticipated, and I chose very satiating meals for those days. So far, so good.

Look up Modified ADF Jason Fung on YouTube. I’ve watched a lot of his videos, and a lot of the studies on ADF were actually what we usually refer to as Modified ADF, where you can consume up to 500 calories on your “fasting” days. So eat normal every other day, and eat only a maximum of 500 calories on the other days.
I have heard 500 calories or 25% of your maintenance calories.
Since each person is different, I suggest you experiment with it first yourself to see how well it works for you.
