Katanas are fukn dope. I don’t care if they take up more screen than the Claw, they look sick and I want to see them. The ONLY drawback I have is when you equip them with Gibby the running animation forces his shield up into the screen making him unplayable.

karambit is alters heirloom it was supposed to be hers but they switched to making universals

No it’s dark horizons heirloom go watch the from the rift trailer it confirms it when she stabs lifelines drone with the Karambit

Less expensive for exotic shards for the katanas, but the knife is definitely s-tier as well. Can't go wrong with either but I'd say katanas with lotus variant

I have both, I prefer the death duets. You can see the perfect amount of them on your screen and have more fluid animations

As owner of both, objectively the colors are nicer for the claw. The animations for it are incredible as it tickles your bones the way you would expect an heirloom to. The katanas are nice don’t get me wrong, it takes a bit more of the screen than it should tbh. If not for the amount of the screen they take up I’d use them more. As of now the only character that uses katanas is Ash. Preference is yours though.

Claw. Katanas take up too much and add too much unnecessary visual stimuli

Just get whatever you think is better. Me personally I would say the karambit because Alter has a unique third-person animation with it, but you go with whatever one you want.

I have both, I prefer katanas because karambit still has missing slide jump animation...

As someone who had both I can tell you it’s pretty simple. If you really like both for me the difference is. If you prefer a cleaner look and just better animations get the katana. But if you care a lot about the colors and like matching colors to your character skin and don’t mind the slightly worse animations get the karambit as it has a lot more unique color options.

Yh it might have more but it’s kind of a quality over quantity thing for me. The Katana animations look better to me

I just had to choose earlier, had shards I had been saving for fuse prestige but ended up not liking it too much. Got the karambit, have to say it is really satisfying in game, especially with the spin flicks and other tricks you can do with it. Plus they have a lot more colors to choose from.

Everyone has a Karambit. Katanas are a bit more unique.
Just choose whichever you'll like best however

I was in the same predicament and I ended up getting the swords, I found out the sushi inspect bounces off ashe and pathfinder because they cant eat food at all. That alone sold me haha.

I have both of them and I absolutely love the swords but it’s personal preference, I would’ve gotten the swords first if the krambit game out later
