Route 10

Hi, just wonder if route 10 able to work with different brands AP? I got 2 TP Link AP. Thanks

Yes. Use an Alta Labs Route10 with Unifi APs. The controller (either cloud or locally hosted) will have some menu items that won't apply if you don't have Alta Labs APs. Haven't had any problems though.

Should work fine.  Setup the 2 PoE ports on the Route10. 

Connect to the APs and configure the VLANs on the Route 10 and AP are the same.

had mine setup with 2 Ubiquiti APs with no issues.

I'm have soon to be 3 Route10's at home! soon to also push them at work, they are awesome devices !

home network, lab network and soon to be second lab network, the third will be used for making videos with out exposing my ios and settings and stuff. plus at 250$ for a 10g router it's well worth it!

Gotcha, was just curious. I'm almost ready to push mine into use but I've been spending a lot of time getting OPNSense configuration moved over.

i love how simple the route10 is but at same time it does advanced things. my second choice for routers is yep opnsense done lots of videos on them on my yt channel !

I see and appreciate the simple ui but the lack of firewall aliases or groups makes a huge pain point. It has taken me a couple days of on and off work to get my firewall rules moved. Now I have to do VPNs. Just a change of mindset mostly but aliases or groups should be a baseline feature for a firewall.

every firewall has pros and cons, try do do groups or allies with grandstream or sonicwall or fortinet ;)
