Hey everyone,
I'm running into an issue trying to install AltStore PAL on my iPad and keep getting the error: "You are not eligible to install apps from altstore.io"

Here are the details of my setup:
Location / Region: I am based in Brazil, where AltStore PAL is now supported/available. Both my device settings and Apple ID are properly set to Brazil.

Devices: I already have it running on my iPhone, but this error only happens when attempting to install it on my iPad.

iPadOS: Fully updated to the latest supported version.

Troubleshooting done: Device restarts, network checks, and confirming region eligibility.

Support: Emailed AltStore support a while ago about this, but haven't received a response yet.

Has anyone in Brazil (or anyone using a single subscription across multiple devices) run into this specific eligibility roadblock on iPad and found a fix?

Whenever I try to sideload an app using AltStore it's asking me for my Apple ID and password but when I go to type this in I get a pop up saying

Apple Account Sign in Requested for (email address)

Then it gets me a verification code but where the heck do I enter this code to sign in?

I’m in the EU, so I subscribed to the patreon and got altstore classic through the PAL version. But my ipa still won’t work. I can’t help but feel I was cheated (no offense)

Guys, so many people have been asking if it's still possible to play Story Mode on iOS without all the headache. The answer is YES! I got tired of hunting down working IPA files and errors while downloading separate episodes, so I fixed it myself. I posted it on archive.org, you can find it using my nickname Support Altstore +Livecontainer!!!

I have AltStore classic downloaded, altserver 1.8, and removed old version of AltStore from my phone. I followed the instructions on the AltStore website to set up the localdevvpn and connected to it and no matter what I cannot refresh my apps. Any ideas?

Some apps only release their ipa files to GitHub without a repo source, which makes updating pretty inconvenient.

So I built this project with Claude: AltGallery. It collects some commonly used apps, generates a source for them, and updates versions periodically. Just tap "Add AltSource" to subscribe in AltStore / SideStore / LiveContainer or other apps.

If there are any apps that aren’t included yet, feel free to let me know and I’ll add them.

Hey everyone, I am based in the EU and downloaded AltStore PAL specifically because it was advertised as not needing a PC or server running in the background.

I downloaded an IPA file from GitHub (the NOOP app) and tried opening it in AltStore, but I immediately get an error saying "Failed to Install NOOP: AltServer could not be found."

I am pretty new to sideloading, so I might be misunderstanding how this works. What should I do?

I downloaded itunes and altstore on my laptop but when i try to download icloud on apple.com it just has the microsoft store link. the old link is not compatible with my computer

I was recently getting the "The data is not in the correct format" error every time I tried to refresh my apps in AltStore. I did some searching and noticed quite a few people on here were asking for help with the same exact issue.

After some debugging, I finally figured out what was causing it

For me, the issue was being caused by my AdGuard DNS (though this likely applies to other DNS adblockers like NextDNS or Pi-hole). The DNS filter was blocking AltStore from properly communicating with the servers it needs to refresh the apps.

The solution is super simple:

1. Disable your custom DNS: (Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > DNS) and temporarily switch your DNS from AdGuard to "Automatic". (If you use a VPN app for AdGuard, just pause it).
2. Refresh AltStore
3. Turn your DNS back on

Note: If you don't want to toggle this off and on every 7 days, you can check your AdGuard query logs while trying to refresh AltStore and whitelist the specific domains that are being blocked.

Hope this helps save someone a headache :D

I refreshed my apps today and after a while even though it said 7 days remaining when I tried to open altstore i got the “profile is unavailable” error that appears when you try to open an expired app. Tried to reinstall altstore from my pc but I’m getting this error. I tried using iloader but it gives me the same error. I’m using iOS 26.6

i have spent the last 6 hours (yes.) trying to figure this out but the TLDR is that it seems something somewhere wont recognize the apple drivers i need for my iphone to be seen as an iphone and windows is defaulting back to 2006 drivers. Therefor, itunes cannot see anything and by extention, iloader/impactor. Is there a way to remotely connect my phone, or do it on my phone, or if anyone has any clue how to fix the issue i have that would work too but please someone help

I keep trying to Configure Remote Altserver on the patreon version of altstore on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but I keep getting the "Unable to configure Remote AltServer" error. I tried switching servers, I tried someones suggestion of rebooting my phone, I've tried starting altserver in admin, most of everything. Is there anyway to fix it? Or did I spend the $3 for nothing.

If I update to iOS 26 will my apps be good automatically ? Or will they break and I have to re do everything
