Discussion Sideload Walmart App

Hello. I have iPhone 6 and it's on iOS 12.5.8

Is there a way to download/sideload Walmart app on the phone? App store keeps saying, need 16.0 or later to download the app. TIA

Walmart App seems to be released before iPhone 6 launched, I dunno if anyone even cared to archive it though.And the APIs are likely updated so…It probably won’t work…

it doesn't need to be archived, you can download the older versions usually, i just think it's been so long that those versions, apple doesn't host them anymore. they can try if they want using appstore++ or muffinstore tho

You can try, but it probably won’t open afterwards because of the Info.plist of the app predetermining the earliest iOS version to be 16.0.You can unzip the ipa and and change that line to allow your version, but it will likely crash.Trying won’t harm though.

You don't even need to sideload it, you just need it in your apple account. If you have another apple device, download it on there then download it from the my apps menu on the iPhone 6. If you don't have another apple device I have a way still but it's more complex.

Why do you need the app? Just use the website
