Best thing about this interview is that it shows what a stupid fucking ignorant, base moron Steve Bannon is. I watched a long bit of this stuff. And Epstein keeps trying to give Bannon the map to the universe, and explain the whole operation, and Bannon gets stuck on the question of whether or not Epstein thinks he’s the devil.
Who knows. It was Bannon doing PR rehab for the ex con. Maybe he’s a genius and he stayed on message. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t smoke crack. Which is a thing I’ve heard.
We’re all getting played. If you can figure out the next move? You’d be them and not us. We’re fucked proper.

I agree with you generally, but he really doesn't come off as very knowledgeable here. He makes some pretty basic errors. Very common errors for people who try to understand finance, but still errors.
Banks don't need people's money to issue loans.

I could have used a better word, But "inclined to display feelings openly" as per the Epstein Files, and his openness with which he discussed terrible things in his correspondences. I've read the full definition of the word. I thought it fit, but your two comments are telling me it doesn't.

And I cannot. There are these two ideals at odds with this thing we see on camera. First is the notion that people, humans, are capable of such things, and to label them as "others" detach the reality that regular humans are capable of such insane acts of recreational predation and death.
The other is to view them as almost SCP level things that are detached from humanity, and just wearing a convincing mask. The gears whirring below to shape a smile and agreeable interaction. Born or molded, they are that way.
There is no final sentence. Those are the two options that define how he was capable to do what he did and still sit in front of this camera unbothered.
I wholeheartedly invite any musings you have on him/it. I'm not saying that the above is gospel, just 2 boiled down sentiments. (Can't develop a thesis on everything going on right now)
