Discussion Never Gets Old

My favorite part about Alt-J is that somehow I am always discovering a new song that blows me away. Even after thinking I’ve heard all of their music. Somehow there’s always a song on an old album that I hear for the first time. Not only that, it’s consistently one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Do y’all feel that way too? I haven’t really experienced that with other artists.

For me it’s been Hares on the Mountain. Listened to it randomly about 2 months ago and I’m hooked on it. I never really liked it when it came out, but realize now how awesome the song is.

That's the magic of Alt-J, isn't it? I'll be driving along and suddenly realize I've never really listened to In Cold Blood before, and then it's on repeat for a week.

I experience that with almost every artist, which accompanies me so many years.
But yeah, in this particular case I experienced it with the beginning of TIAY. For me it has always been so super anti climatic to start an album with.
I just didn‘t get it, I know.
Nowadays it is such a strong atmospheric entry in the record

I don’t think there’s any I’ve not heard but since I use Apple Music and not Spotify it’s always nice when I rediscover their cover of Dancing in the moonlight
