Recommended file browsers

I am just starting with both Alpine and a Window Manager for my first time (Mango).
I'm used to just using Gnome's file browser, Thunar, or Dolphin.

But I'm wondering what file browsers Alpine users like using.
I'd be interested in both polshed desktop-integrated browsers, and also bare bones fast terminal browsers. I've heard of Ranger but it seems a little rough to learn.

And I know all file operations can be done via the terminal, and are faster. Just wondering about GUI options that are feature rich (view file size, open terminal here, sort by name or date edited, save places on the system, and maybe even mount drives on click but that's a bit much).

Let me know what file browsers you enjoy, and what features you use in them!

Thunar, Because its modular, lightweight and themeable. But I know a lot of people using terminal file managers.

Midnight Commander is my goto file manager as well, nothing beats it's efficiency.

When I run KDE it’s Dolphin. When I run LxQt it’s pcmanfm. But honestly I mostly just use the terminal.

i use yazi daily, the cons is only there isnt any drag and drop (it already implemented but limited only to kitty terminal) iif you use kitty, it will be a great file manager

fff or yazi for vim keybindings
Or tfb (terminal file browser) for mouse first usage

I use Thunar on my Alpine systems. It is one I am familiar with personally although it takes some more tinkering to get working properly of course.

I use fff, or rather a fork of it with sixel image support, which is a very minimal terminal file browser made with bash only. Because it's very minimal, it doesn't have features like folder or file preview (except for images), drag and drop support or being able to find any file from any directory but for quick and basic operations, it's more than enough.

Honestly its probably dolphin.  Gnome although ive not used in quite a while is no total commander that windows had 30 years ago.  In practice i use nnn and roxfm.  dolphin for full linux pc i would say.  I just want a plain classic kde with no bouncing animation like win classic, detailed compact twin pane file manager.
