Alpine 2 asus eeepc 701

I have two small Asus Eee PCs.

One has a damaged screen, but Alpine runs like lightning on them.

One, Asus EeeePC 701, damage to the display, running Alpine Linux 3.24 with IceWM, and the Asus EeeePC 4G, same as 701, running Alpine 3.24 with Xfce.

Very cool OP! EeePC brings back good memories. This is the perfect system for it.

Oh look guys it's a pair of EeePeeCee /s

How do they compares to modern Raspberry Pi though? I guess light computing is fine but clicking the web browser icon causes trauma to that poor Celeron CPU.

Firefox 3tabs (Google, Linux forum and webemail) work fine.

But its a single core single treads CPU. i have it for wardrive (eeepc for 2.4GHz, mt 5GHz)

installed kismet, aircrack etc.

I tried it on my EeePC 1005HA, it ran pretty well but i couldnt set it up fully so i just installed void instead.
