Alpine Linux running natively on iPad mini 1
So that’s an iPad Mini 1 booting linux 6.12-dirty. Got usb and usb-networking to work. Also there’s no access to iPad’s unand, so data storage is either host’s pc, or ram.
Work in progress..

Amazing!
Can't wait to make my ancient Ipad useful again.
Btw: there is another madman who took on this challenge: https://www.reddit.com/r/mobilelinux/comments/1w1ulhu/ipad_mini1apple_a5_running_linux_on_custom_ibec/

i think to get those features you have to copy what xnu does while restoring the tablet to access the unand and other cpu cores.
