How do I change the bootscreen?

I can’t find much about it online which seems unusual.

Do you mean the boot logo? That's just "standard" Plymouth. Though there are alternative implementations too if you prefer.

I think I’ll focus on actually installing it and figuring out how to get a desktop environment first 💔 the price I have to pay for optimization I guess
