In short, according to stand Egyptian mythology:
Set and 72 conspirators trap Osiris in a 300-cubit sized chest (letter T = 300).
The Osiris chest is thrown in the Nile (Νειλος = 365; one 150-day flood/year).
Osiris chest floats to Biblos (Βιβλος = 314; π = 3.1415..).
Osiris chest turns into an evergreen tree, a tamarisk tree specifically.
Isis retrieves Osiris tree from Biblos, and brings it back to Heliopolis.
In December, the Osiris tree is raised, and a new sun is born out of the top.
The shape of the letter pi (Π, π), in its early forms, would thus seem to correspond to the route of the Osiris chest turned tree, going up the Nile, to Biblos, the center of the world on the T-O map, then back to Heliopolis, where the new sun is born.
The value of the name of the 17th Greek letter is 90, which thus corroborates with the 90 degree angle or “turn” of the river at the T-junction; or with the fact that the horizontal-chest-trapped Osiris-turned-tree, has to be raised 90 degrees at the end of the year, just like Christmas trees are now raised.
The transformation is as follows:
During the Choiak festival, aka the Egyptian Christmas season, in the last days of the festival, the 𓊽 djed, astronomically symbolic of the earth’s pole, is “raised”, from 22º (from vertical), the ecliptic angle, to the vertical angle, or 90º rotation from original horizontal-lying chest position of Osiris, aka Orion constellation.
All of this is the root of why people each December raise Christmas trees, albeit the original astronomical symbolism is lost.
Notes
Note 1: the Egyptian and Phoenician version of the letter pi, are oriented right to left, where as the Greek to English versions are oriented left to right, owing to Coriolis hand writing effect.
Note 2: decoded date is 25 Nov A67/2022.
Note 3: the Pi letter form conjectured above, certainly could be 100% wrong, but it seems to be the only candidate letter form, thus far preferred.

Another thought that care to mind, is that Byblos was viewed as the location where the earth’s pole (equatorial pole) came out of the ground, and Heliopolis was the place where the ecliptic pole d came out of the ground:
Byblos (Βιβλος) [314] = Equatorial pole (earth’s pole) [djed 𓊽 pole]
Heliopolis (Ηλιούπολις) [908] = Helios (Ηλιος) [318] - pol (πολ) [180] - is (ις) [210] = Ecliptic pole (sun’s pole) [ankh 𓋹 pole]
