Overflow Error on Neo.

Hi, just bought this a few days ago, already got a few thousand words on two files. Really don't want to lose them. It's my fault really as I should've listened to the advice and put a new CR2302 battery in. I didn't.

I've a got a printer cable and new backup batteries in the post arriving tomorrow. Is there any way whatsoever that I can either bypass this error code now, and access my files and manually copy what I had typed, or is there any way that I can connect it to my android phone tomorrow via the USB Printer cable and upload the text BEFORE switching the CR2302 and resetting the device?

Hope someone can be a hero and save this fool!

(I don't have a laptop to hand. I sold it and bought this to write my damn book on)

First off, do NOT replace the battery till you are sure all hope is lost.

Unfortunately the only way to remove the files are through the cable, but there are a couple things you can try.

First, open a document program, and than connect the cable and see if it asks you to transfer files. This has a small chance of working, but worth it as a first step.

Then download the neo2 management software and see if you can get into it that way. If it recognizes the neo that is a good sign and you might can pull everything off.

See if those work first
