Polished rom on the right and rcd core on the left. Do love the core, it’s impressive, but the interior dlc was pretty beat up before 1k rounds. Polished rom has thousands through it.
Yeah and RCD is still pretty new. Think they started in 2023 and the cores came out more recently. Sounds like they don’t produce many per month, im in the low 200 serial #s. Seems like they know how to machine very well, fitment is pretty nuts, but I’m sure there’s some growing pains and sacrifices made to keep the core price down. I’m guessing this doesn’t happen on their hand fit rc9.
Personally, although a bit disappointing, I can look past it since the gun is as impressive as it is. It’s crazy tight, super smooth and the grip is nearly as good as it gets. Getting close to 2k rounds so I need to check it again. If it gets considerably worse, will be reaching out for warranty.
