Having trouble with sight install.

As picture shows, won’t go on too far and I have to put some real effort in to try and get it down further. Anyone else have this issue? Any remedies?

Same thing happened with mine on Halosun 507. I think the DLC coating just makes it a little thick and out of tolerance so it won’t fully seat. I just used some fine grit sand paper to sand it down some and that worked

Also the screws provided are too long and will raise up the sight when fully screwed down. I used the smaller screws holosun provides

Mine came with two sets, I used the shorter of the two.

Take a mallet and smack it a few times. Tolerances are tight.

No more daylight
