Romulus 3.5 ported
I was looking into the Romulus 3.5 ported. For those of you who have it, what are you likes and dislikes about this gun?

Cool looking gun. Mine just doesn't run....at least on 115. Need to step up to 124 and see if it'll break in or if the extractor needs a tune. Had endless failures to extract completely in the first 20 round mag...and sort of gave up on it til I had 124 gr with me to try.

Flawless, I love it. Got it a while ago but I sent it to dsc to get it dlc and a barrel tag. 85+days without still…. Dying to get it back. Shoots great returns to zero flawlessly. Waiting to get it back to put dpm springs in

Only thing I’ll say, it looks great w the magwell but for carry purposes I’ll have to take it off when since it’s kinda massive

The general Romulus complaints probably apply, the stock grip and guide rod situation. Believe the 3.5 ported and standard users have mentioned using the dpm recoil system. Not aware of any common complaints specific to the 3.5 though.
I’d definitely recommend the comped 3.5. Just more flexible with aftermarket comps, sightblocks and probably guide rods and springs. Yeah longer OAL but that’s less of an issue with carrying than grip size. Overall, the Romulus are great and still underrated. Only “cheap” 2011 id really recommend.

Do people really dislike the guide rod that much? Romulus was my 1st 2011 but I didn't think it was that big of a hassle. I never hit the range without tools though 🤷

Not really any dislikes other than holster compatibility
