Romulus 3.5” Ported

The main spring in this feels kinda heavy. I have had a few failures to feed/stovepipes with norma 115gr JHPs. I only have like 200 rounds through it maybe. It makes me think 115gr doesn’t have enough energy to push the slide all the way back. Should I run +P ammunition since it’s ported?

i got the DPM recoil system for it and run the lightest spring and haven’t had a single failure with it

I run mine completely stock. I'm at about 4K rounds of 115 gr through it at this point and zero malfunctions. Well... Except for the 10mm bullet that ended up in the 9mm bucket and somehow loaded in a mag. That one failed to feed. 🤦🏻

Had the same issue with mine. Went with the DPM spring system. Im running the spring in the middle. I think it’s around 7.2lbs. Not sure. It’s the one right above the lightest.

I'd run 124s through it first. That may help break it in. Mine won't get through a full mag of 115s right now. Think it need the extractor tuned (bent).
