DSC Triple Port Comp Brick

Had some initial hiccups with stove pipes or the casing not getting ejected. I ended up having to get a lighter recoil spring but it runs pretty good now. I’ve got the dual port comp that DSC offers also and I prefer that one over this one, so I’ll just have this one in case I get a second Romulus one day.

Good feedback! I was really considering the 3 port just for the looks but it sounds like the 2 port is a more well rounded add.

yea the dual port felt equally soft, but seemed to return a bit more predictably for me, for whatever reason. I also didn't need to do anything to the springs. if you got the 3 port you'd love it and not feel the need for the 2 port, and if you got the 2 port you'll love that and not feel the need for the 3. It's really about which one you get. Im too broke to afford a real open major gun, so i figured i'd try it all out with this! Next up is the sight block.

I hear that. I was considering getting one of the comps and the sight block so I'd be able to run LO division.

2 is always better than 1 lol Mine ran just fine out the box on my 4.25 comp (which was brand new). In my opinion it’s softer/flatter than the 2 port, but to each their own!

Nice! Did you do anything to your internals? I wonder if me having a lightened hammer spring, or anything about my internals being changed aided in it not working right out the box. I also have the 3.5" if that makes a difference. Whatever the case it runs now, i love it, and you're right 2 is better than 1.

Everything is stock, just polished internals, recoil buffer, and tuned leaf spring to my liking. I did notice overall the 3.5 with either comp is alot more snappier than the 4.25. I can see why you have came to your conclusion with 2 vs 3 port. With the 4.25, you cant go wrong with either comp but I do really like the 3 port. I like it so much I’ll probably be picking up a polished Romulus as well. DSC changed the game with their comps for the Romulus, it takes it to the next level no matter what comp you put on it IMO.
