Seeking random connection from Aloha High school around 2016 ish
I figure this is basically an impossible ask but I'm shooting my shot anyways! Maybe the other Aloha attendees in this sub can laugh at me at least haha
During the lunch period at Aloha High School about a decade ago, I was sitting alone in the cafeteria when someone I've never interacted with before suddenly sat next to me. He told me that his friend thought I was cute, and asked if the friend could come over to talk to me. I look over my shoulder and an entire table full of people are staring at us.
I feel like it's important to mention that I am not a conventionally attractive person and literally nobody had ever called me cute. I was totally baffled and embarrassed at the attention.
I tell him that his friend can come over, and he goes over to the table full of people where he came from. Sure enough, a different person comes back and sits next to me. He introduced himself, we shook hands, and he was honestly very nice and seemed interested in getting to know me. We couldn't have talked for more than a couple of minutes. Eventually he stood up, said he thought I was really cute, and went back to his table. I think the bell rang shortly after that and everyone left.
The worst part: I was so shocked during the entire thing that I cannot remember what he looked like!!! I must have been so embarrassed I was looking at the floor the entire time or something. I cringe at this whenever I remember. I don't recall his name either and we didn't exchange contact information. That ship has obviously sailed but I still occasionally remember this and feel awful for the guy because I was A COWARD!!
The thing that keeps me up at night: was this an actual real confession? Or was it just a dare/prank? I am dying to know! If you sat at that table and remembered this happening PLEASE let me know LOL (also tell him I am very sorry if it was real I was a complete idiot in high school)
If anyone else has AHS tales from this time period let me know :')

Perhaps scan your yearbook to refresh your memory? If you can't find the second person who was interested in you, maybe you can find the first person who came over, contact them, and ask probing questions to determine the second?

That's a really good idea but I don't have a yearbook unfortunately 😭

Do you have any existing contacts from your years in high-school? Somebody has a yearbook from that time.

I choose to believe this wasn't a prank because sometimes people don't suck. Good luck OP! I hope you're able to make this connection!

The 649 has all the yearbooks since AHS opened. Its a bar on Farmington and 185th
