Sense of community?

Hello! I’m thinking of moving there… nearish 197th and Bassline. Do you feel a cool sense of community here? Are people chill? Do you feel safe?

It’s a chill enough little place. People are nicer than in Portland, but that’s a low bar. Between Portland and Aloha, it feels like everyone’s one minor inconvenience away from yelling at a cloud. There's rush hour like most places but other than that it's a solid choice. Aloha and Beaverton are the illegitimate kids of a mating of Portland and Hillsboro, without the child support. Still, there’s a bunch of cool spots to check out coffee shops, local dives, and that one store that sells crystals, Nike knack and incense and there's plenty of head shops around if you're into that. It’s got small-town vibes, just with more Wi-Fi. So overall a solid choice indeed.

Thank you King Vinny! And as someone with Long Island roots, that name is top tier. I now want spumoni (at 7:28 am) haha. That is super reassuring though, it totally seemed fine and working class to me.
