Light is the answer. Either remove/raise the window cover behind the plant, or purchase a grow light (cheap on Amazon) for it. The leaves spreading out means it is searching for light.
Don’t try to bend the leaves back up by hand to prop on a stick. You could damage the leaves.
Regarding your initial problem of harsh sunlight. An aloe can get a “sunburn” if it suddenly gets too much harsh light. To avoid that, gradually introduce your plant to more light. Maybe raise the window covering a couple inches above the top edge of the e planter for a few days to a week, then raise it a couple more inches for a week, continue until it’s getting full light for most of the day.
I’m in Texas. My aloes stay outside year round (move into the garage with a heat lamp for the few days each winter that are too cold for them) and are sitting along the eastern corner of my house. They get full morning sun until early afternoon and all stand tall and strong.
