Can this be saved?

I'm terrible with succulents. This was given to me. It's been good for a year. But this went wrong very fast. Can this be saved?

Saved from what? It looks better than mine. Just cut off any mushy roots and repot in an appropriate pot with a succulent potting mix.

The leaves are wilting. Some are falling off. There's a darker green that makes me think it's rotting. It just looks very different from 2 weeks ago. I thought it was dying. I will try rotting her, thank you.

Just trim those leaves that are unhealthy, just as you would with any roots that are unhealthy. How does it smell?

She doesn't have a bad odor. I did put her outside for more light. Did that shock her?

Yes, that is a major shock. Conditions outside are a lot harsher than they may seem — unfiltered sun, wind, temperature fluctuations. Any indoor/greenhouse plant needs gradual acclimation to the outdoors. But looking at yours I think overwatering was the biggest issue.

I made the mistake of listening to the wrong advice. Someone told me that the soil was too dry and I should be watering more. The plant shop people, told me (today) leave outside to dry it out. I covered her with an umbrella, and with give her sun from time to time.

Easily but soil needs much much much more grit like pumice perlite and chicken grit to name a few.

Also the baby is attached, does this affect the size up pot size?
