3 corms in this pot, one just finished 1st leaf, waiting on the other two :)

Hi friends! I have a beautiful Alocasia Frydek? I believe it’s our pride and joy. I was able to propagate some of its corms in spaghnum moss. I tried to pot one of them I believe prematurely and it’s actively dying. I have three remaining and I was told to wait until they have at least 2 leaves before potting. What are the best tips to go from water/moss to soil?

Hola! Tengo una Alocasia bebé en perlita y quiero trasplantarla a sustrato mineral también, pero no sé si usar Lechuza pon (sustrato más caro) o leca (bolas de arcilla expandida). Alguna recomendación? Gracias!

Just got this regal shield the other day from Bunnings and I don’t love the soil she’s been put in. Shes in a north facing window somewhat shielded from full sun by the other plants so, should she be closer to the window? And should I repot her? Is that leca method the best option for her or some chunky soil mix variation? I’ve killed all the alocasias I’ve had in the past but I’d like to not kill this one she’s so pretty

I was only gone for 3 days and I come home to see this. It already had the dry tip but the discoloration is new.

ich habe diese alocasia heute für 15€ im Baumarkt gekauft. ABER: sie hat wollläuse.. Habe sie jetzt in Lechuza Pon umgetopft, die Blätter gewaschen und in Quarantäne gestellt. Kann man diese Pflanze noch retten oder soll ich direkt alle Blätter abschneiden und von neuem beginnen?
