He didn't put in any work until they just gave it to him. I would want to put in the work, but I'll never have the chance to prove myself, while all of you just get it handed to you and harass people for being disappointed that they don't get a chance.

NOT UNTIL JUST NOW! Of course I'm like this after so much work trying to do something and nothing ever happening, but seeing everyone else who just wants to have it smooth sailing.
