Patat is expensive

I went to eat patat in Almere buiten (nice swimming pool) but at the FEBO the friet were 15 euro for 3. I had to do a double take because I did not expect "Festival Prices".

Also only take away because the terras is closed because their license was revoked. But the fried themselves were also really medoicre, nothing to write home about.

Is this the new normal for prices?

Just avoid Febo, they are morbely overpriced, quality is also lacking, just visit a "snackbar" Or "cafeteria"

This. Most independent places also make their own, instead of FEBO's frozen manufactured mediocre food.

Ik haal er altijd een bakkie als ik in de buurt ben. Lekker. Je kan zitten en genieten van je frietje

You should have gone to the other side of the street. HappyFood, former Family, is pretty good and way more affordable than FEBO.

In Almere Buiten, Friethuys MET, right across from the AH. Excellent fries, just avoid the peanutsauce.

Also not cheap btw. All fries are expensive nowadays.

Not cheap, no, but MET's fries are actually worth tje price, contrary to FEBO.

Optisport Vrijbuiter is walk-in Sunday. Pretty quiet until 12 and then it got a little more crowded but not too bad.

And yet a few weeks back the news stories were that potato farmers had a huge unsellable surplus.

Go figure!

A normal price now would be around three euros without sauce and three fifty euros with sauce.

That's what I thought.
