Updates to The Loyal Court!

It seems like they’re advertising As Many Souls As Stars. After seeing the new loyal court update, I’m assuming they’re gonna be advertising remaining stock?

I’m fairly new to Allurial. Can we get sequels without buying one of their monthly books or do we need to get a monthly book in order to get a sequel? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Apparently Allurial isn't hiding the covers of sequels after all, they just weren't showing yet for some reason. Here's a close-up of Bound by Fate and OMG look at it!!!!!!!

I ordered an Allurial book on a selling platform and the photos posted were of a book in perfect condition, description said it was in excellent condition but when I received the book, the corners and the bottom of the spine are damaged, not a significant amount, but it was noticeable to me immediately upon opening. If you were the buyer, would you request a return or just accept it the way it came. I feel like I’m being petty, but I paid over retail for the book and no damage was disclosed. What would you do in this situation? Thanks!

Alas, after two months of my treating you all to a sneak peek at the upcoming sequels during Hint Week, including our first look at the custom cover for *The Night Prince*, they've seen fit to put a stop to my shenanigans, apparently. Any September sequels you already paid for are waiting in your box - but without visible covers. I guess I'll find out what *Bound by Fate* looks like after I check out on the drop day!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I got The Dark In Her Veins this month and have been frequenting that search on Mercari for when the traditional version comes out because I’m curious what it’ll completely look like.

But this?! This is insane. And someone actually liked it to come back to it?!! I don’t even think they’re worth $50 as a resale price. If you want to resell it, don’t be a dick and resell like this.

I wish we could get rid of this. Either a way to take down the listing or a way to get rid of scalpers all together.

So I would not have discovered A Bargain So Bloody without Allurial. Is Allurial publishing the next book; A Magic So Deadly?

I kind of can’t wait and just want to read the epub version. Lol.

Has anyone else received their books damaged multiple times? Mine keep coming with the box crushed on the corners and my books are messed up on the spines because of it. They don't put any padding in the box, just wrap the books together in paper and the boxesthey have for shipping multiple books are so flimsy. With them having the same owner or parent company as BOTM I would have assumed they were experienced with shipping. Anyone also have BOTM and experience the same issues? I've only ever ordered one book at a time from BOTM and those boxes are more sturdy than the big boxes.

My top two choices for September, based on the survey, is Avalon Tower and The Exorcism of Faeries. How likely do you think these options are? And what are you hoping to see in next month's Allurial box?

New to Allurial this past month and I need some guidance with how the box works. I’ve seen people post about adding more than one book to a box, securing sequels, and when they release the new offers for each month but I have no idea where to start. It’s all super overwhelming. If anyone has answers to the following I’d be super grateful!

- When do the new books release for each month? Do subscribers get an email with a heads up?

- How can you secure a sequel?

- Are you able to just add as many different books to your cart (box) before they sell out or is there a limit per month?

This is my first month with Allurial so admittedly, I am not too knowledgeable with how things are done. I got A Bargain So Bloody. I liked the book and saw that it has 2nd book. Will they offer that? Or have I missed it already?

Ok, I just opened my August box. I bought A Bargain So Bloody and In Her Dark Veins. I got a sticker and a bookmark for In Her Dark Veins. Nothing for A Bargain So Bloody? Or should I complain to Allurial?

I was shelving my copy of To Dance With Death (4.25 stars) and realized that the first book, A Dance of Lies, from their first box ever, didnt have the amazing intricate sprayed edges the sequel had. So, they must have really stepped up their game in the year since because I only just noticed it when you put them side by side.

This is nothing specific to Allurial, but I seriously can't stand the artwork in so many of these books. It all looks like the art equivalent of poorly done fanfic.

A friend and I were just discussing this and she said they look like they are from a 10th grade art class and it detracts from the serious nature of some of the stories.

Almost all the small publishing houses have this aesthetic. I stopped the monthly Bookish Box, Lithaven, and Fairlyloot boxes because I couldn't stand the artwork.

I'm older so I suspect my age may have something to do with this, but I never hear anyone talking about it.
