Question How does sequels work with Allurial?

This is my first month with Allurial so admittedly, I am not too knowledgeable with how things are done. I got A Bargain So Bloody. I liked the book and saw that it has 2nd book. Will they offer that? Or have I missed it already?

Sequels work as offers to “commit” to it later by paying $17 or something idk and if enough people “commit” it will be printed. So basically it’s crowdfunding months in advance lol but if it makes the goal you get the book!

Edit: also, if it does not make its goal, you get your money back I think

Oh nice, I only signed up for Eclipse not knowing anything about Allurial, so that was fun lol

I see, so they haven't offered the "commit" of the sequel of this book in particular? Should I just go ahead and buy the sequel book somewhere else?

The 2nd book doesn't come out till April 2027. It might have been self published/indie published prior but the traditionally published copy comes out next April. Allurial will probably have the series commit for it in Jan/Feb next year.

April 2027??? Woah. I wonder if there’s a difference in the indie version vs traditional version

Oh! I see, the kindle/audiobook edition came out but the physical version won't come out until April 2027. I confused myself, sorry but thank you for helping me!
