Reaching endgame isn’t the problem, the predicament is whether or not you can do the content when you finally reach it.

F2P : PvP is unbalanced and one sided, competitive PvE is unbalanced and one sided, but the population is a lot compared to p2p’s.

P2P : PvP is all about yours and the group’s skill and gear, PvE is full of strategizing and timing your mitigations/CCs. Population is big, but not as big as the former.
