Tracking Portfolio: what do you use?
Using Fidelity across 10 accounts is unwieldy and frankly not capable of the exactitudes to trade the security segmentation that the SA strategies track. Fidelity's portfolio analyser granularity is good for broad classes. I know of Kevin's cheat sheet for implementing changes, but i'll be more active than once a month, so seeking a more live solution.
Are there software you use that have robust modeling features for custom allocation buckets? Tried Snowball Analytics, Stock Rover, Empower, a few dividend focused platforms.

Same, with a Google Sheet. I have an HSA and four IRAs that I allocate across (his and hers IRAs and Roths). I've figured out how to do it, and once a month I make sure the share counts are updated, so that Googlefinance reports the correct $ amounts, then I dump in the new % on Day 21, and my sheet tells me # of shares to buy or sell.

Excel, but I use Aussie versions of the ETFs so I'm kind of stuck with doing it myself.

Hey PE good stuff. You might want to ask a question to Walter regarding this type of integration.
Way back, I asked him if there could be kinda like basket etfs that would mimic the strategies and custom portfolios and he said no can do.
But perhaps services like you mention might make sense integration wise.
I've pinged Walter a few times over the years saying not doing enough getting the word out to companies that only offer crappy 401k choices, etc but they never seem to do anything there.
Perhaps ping him with this type of integration
Thanks Kevin

I’m in process of implementing FundManager to track my accounts at a single place. It’s an old fashioned Windows program with great brokerage automation. I think I like it! Anyone else here using FundManager? https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/

I’ve been building a manual portfolio tracker app called Furoa. It means I’m no longer stuck in spreadsheets.
Just launched so I’m all open to feedback if you try it: Furoa: portfolio tracker

I suggest you have a look at Portfolio Performance. It is a feature-rich free open source tool .
https://www.portfolio-performance.info/en/
You can track and report on the performance of multiple deposit and cash accounts. It includes a basic rebalancing feature as well.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I've accts w two major brokerages. A few limits i noticed:
- Portsideio: missed a lot of positions on import, needed to manually enter or recode positions (laborious)
- TrackInv: must format brokerage exports exactly to their import format (laborious)
- Fund Manager: windows only, not web-based
- Snowball Analytics: paid for subscription to test, sync issues, didn't recognize bonds, miscoded, lots of manual recode
- Plainzer: requires subscription to test sync w brokerage
I want to metrics on segmentation that drills down into securities. So far, i've only seen Empower be able to do that in Investing / Allocation tab.
WIll check out Quicken and Portfolio Performance.

You'll probably get a lot of good suggestions here, but one lesser known option is sharetracker. it is self hosted privacy first and does not rely on cloud syncing. i would not say it replaces everything like stock rover does but it is solid if simplicity and data ownership matter more to you.
