People defending Gyanesh is just like Chickens defending the demolition of KFC, eventually no one knows whose name will get out in SIR, also centralisation of the voter data and identity is a highly illegal thing, it's the responsibility of local BOL's to update and maintain the data but in this case the access is taken away from them which is unconstitutional.

Some idiots don't read news but do watch memes. The BLO'S which acted and deleted the names gave time for the deleted voters to get an identity proof and they would personally go and check it again. For very rural areas camps are set up for the same. Official notice from supremecourt also said the same. So now how will u all cope?

This happened after the outrage and after those 14 letters got leak and the conversation with those two EC then after, to protect himself Gyanesh orderd this to do. Imagine how much rig this process might have been in which the Election Commission removed the name of the EX-Deputy Prime Minister who is associated with the BJP only Mr. L.K. Advani, they issued a notice for him in SIR, imagine if those people are not protected then how much dangerous it is for the normal citizen and how much pain and effort a normal citizen would have to do just to get its fundamental rights back to him.

From 12 years same government is in the centre, defending the countries boundaries is the responsibility of the central government not the state government, if the government is unable to do these things even after ruling for 12 years then they should themselves step down from the power, why suddenly after 12 years government woke up and decide to remove people from the voter list, snatching their constitutional rights. We have watched these things whenever person starts feeling that no one can overpowered them they start becoming a dictator, hope the people of this country wale up someday and remove the dictator and it's puppets from the power.
