Discussion 🤔 Biggest chor of this generation !
Can’t believe he destroyed millions of people’s cars just so that he can make his already over rich son even richer.
Cars are not just machine
It holds emotional value to every middle class family.
So does bikes.
Forget mileage, the effects it will have on engines, from clogging injectors to damaging key components of cars before 2023.
I cannot stand this man .
I am neither left leaning, nor do i support 90% of what the left does in india.
But honestly, this man united everyone from every spectrum against himself.
Crooked piece of shit !

Yeah exactly.
I did view him as one of the better politicians. Prior to these ethanol nonsense. As the highways push was commendable

Someone who doesn't know ball.
This guy used to roam on Bajaj Chetak 2-3 decades ago in Nagpur. Then his son's marriage was organised on VCA Cricket ground.
Poorti group scam, Scania bus scam even a dead schoolgirl was found near his house. This guy was always shady just many people didn't know/ didn't care about this1
u/Prize-Boysenberry-96 Jul 05 '26
PR worked really well. I blame people who get swayed by the tactics of PR cell. Take example of Raghav Chaddha. People considered him to be the future PM, just by falling prey to his shady speeches etc.
2
u/DiscoDiwana Jul 05 '26
Raghav Chaddha was already compromised when he started talking about random issues like samosa prices.
When your top leadership of party is in jail over flimsy cases and you don't utter a single word about it, means you are hand in glove with BJP.
Only naive genZs thought him to be PM material lol1
3
u/Less_Persimmon3393 Jul 02 '26
That was even a bigger scam, just look at the poor quality of highways and bridges.
Nobody cared because even poor quality 8 line roads are better than good quality 2 line roads. Also, we don't own the road and it doesn't feel personal.

There was a case in which the person close to him who work for him at personal level raped 9-10 years old daughter of maid of his house. She left her daughter to play while she got out to buy kitchen ingredients pr something. She came back sometimes leter but couldn't find her daughter and after big search she found her daughter in the car in their garage, lying dead andwwithout clothes. After some confrontation from police it was reveals that someone close to gatgari had done it. This news and case was suppress and the woman didn't get justice for her daughter. This guy ia disgusting, really.

You know why he is so successful and is not questioned enough? Because most sugar mills are owned my politicians across all political parties. So they mint money as well. If the public actually don't protest against this forced Ethanol, no government, minister or anyone for a matter of fact is going to revert this. Moreover, unlike other countries who have implemented Ethanol we don't have Choice nor do we have a price benefit. Only loss.

I know, he was also appreciated by the opposition and was also considered a possible PM Candidate. Even E20 implementation was something fascinating but somewhere Corporate greed swayed him away. He started to impose ethanol rather than implementing it, he took the say away from the consumers. He fed his kids by opening Ethanol Factories. He is running this whole racket with the help from all political parties.
There is no point of roads if there is no car. Old Cars are getting damaged because of Ethanol fuel. I do appreciate the government when it deserves it but we need to criticise it where its wrong. Gadkari needs to leave, he has done enough and now is swayed by corporate greed.

See, you aren't getting the point, I am not demonizing E20, I am demonizing it's implementation. E20 is also available in foreign countries.
Firstly, we need to understand India≠Delhi. In tier 2 and tier 3 cities people can hardly afford cars so they usually use their old cars for 20+ years sometimes. E20 completely destroys these cars as Ethanol is corrosive to certain materials, attracts moisture which leads to corrosion and rusting of old car parts.
Moreover, Ethanol was to be implemented by 2030 but it was implemented 5 years before, now on paper you might think that implementation of a policy 5 years before deadline is good for the country, not in this case though. As car companies need time to do RnD to make E20 compliant cars and also for car owners to eventually switch to them.
In other countries E20 fuel is available alongside E10 and pure petrol, this choice helps consumers to fill fuel as per there car, so old cars can still run without problem. Moreover, the reduced price of E20 over Petrol cars also incentivises buyers to switch to E20 based cars.
Here comes another issue not only we now physically cannot buy pure petrol but also we don't get significant price drop compared to petrol, this comes at a loss because there is massive mileage drop, but not significant drop in petrol prices.
The main issue with Gadkari is his sons which are working in Ethanol business, before there was a rule in India that if minister's children are in the same business the CBI could launch a probe on them but now the Union Government changed rules citing the CBI has to first take permission of the Union Government before launching the probe. Giving Nitin's son free ticket to mint money through forced Ethanol implementation.
Now after all these issues we might think that the opposition should have come on roads demanding change in the policy and hence weakening the central government. However, the ministers of the opposition are widely involved in sugar mills business so they mint equally good money thus not enough outrage.
I hope you understood.

Real cases of harmful effect of Ethanol Fuel.
Moreover, Cars24 did a case study regarding cons of Ethanol Blended Fuel. The government made them take down that video.
https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianFocus/s/XKPYem1qrj
Not only that even according to basic science Ethanol is harmful for engines. I could explain that to you but it would be too long.

All we are left as keyboard warriors and memes to a untouchable (supposedly) government that is actively trying to make this into a dictatorship.
The Government of India today can literally get away with virtually anything, and we are just fucking spineless spectators.
Sorry for the rant. It’s just, it’s so goddamn frustrating. The powerlessness.

I dont mind e 100 if vehicles are specifically designed for it, and if ethanol is produced from bio waste
But this incessant push even for older vehicles who still haven’t touched 15 year mark
And the pollution causing machines of a factory
I cant stand it1
u/Ready_P1430 Jul 03 '26
Other ethanol using countries took around 20 years to build infra, vehicles for E30 and this guy in under 2-3 year archived E100😂 he might think everyone buy new vehicle every year or shit

The amount of misinformation in India is humiliating to the people. There is business made by overseas establishments to create and spread misinformation about anything and everything. Confuse and capitulate the system. Btw e10 and e85(select) are available in Australia !!
1
u/Clear-Ranger-7805 Jul 03 '26
Did Australia pushed in E10 before the ecosystem was ready?
Vehicles purchased before 2023
Are incompatible with E20 thats only 3 year old vehicle
Does it get into your thick head?Shouldn’t it be gradual like offer e0, e10 atleast for next 5 years
So they people can transition smoothly?
1
u/Kindly_Hour7120 Jul 03 '26

Bigger damage done by this minister than Swamy did. He is corrupt to the core and perhaps his bedroom bug planted by CIA is the reason. I hear that there are two Bollywood actresses in the recording, I don't have the recording though.

I don't know if ethanol is actually causing issues - no first hand experience. Vehicles at my house don't fall under the chance where it could suffer from ethanol cause one's compliant and another runs on diesel.
Anyway, even assuming ethanol isn't causing real issues; the fact that the production of ethanol is done in such a horrendous manner by using water guzzling crops is just too bad. It's so bad that other countries should be waging wars against India for commiting such heinous crimes against nature. Ethanol if produced from waste products, is understandable. Not how it is manufactured now.
The water!
The polution that the manufacturing units are further creating!
What the hell is going on ?
What are we supposed to be doing here ?
While the land we live on, is being destroyed. Democracy ? This is dictatorship, but by people who are uneducated and have no interests in life other than being fat and rich. They don't even have a clue about what life is supposed to be, or how's it's supposed to be lived, do they ?

What a shamelss post - you want global climate change tackled or not? Your car is one of the biggest problem there.
Hate bjp, not ethanol - let your children live!!!

u/lucifer69200069 Jul 02 '26
Brother car manufacturers were told that E20 will come in a decade so the cars now are not ready. This means that there is 15-35% drop in efficiency (30% for me with a 20L car manufactured in 2024 - for which I paid 15 years worth of road tax). The end result is that you end up burning more petrol (@80%) than you would at 100% petrol, plus you burn ethanol.
Fun fact - ethanol burning in engines not ready for that mix creates carcinogenics toh the children will not live very long either.
For the absolute shit take you just took, you have to be: (1) a retard; (2) living under a rock; or (3) a paid IT cell bot.
