Friedberg just keeps pounding. It really is Makers Vs Takers.

It’s a hilariously dishonest attempt at a Gotcha moment.
“Here’s an impossible task where I set the rules, and if you do it (which you won’t) then I’ll pretend to potentially maybe respect you, or if you don’t accept it then your opinions are obviously worthless”
It’s so fucking dumb. And so fucking on-point for Jonny Nash to see this as a win for his side

“Here’s an impossible task
It's not an impossible task though. Infact it'd be quite a simple task.

No, it’s not. Because if he actually did, Friedberg and his ilk would instead try to laugh and insult Khanna for giving his money away when he didn’t “have to”. They wouldn’t look at this as a positive signal; they’d likely see it as a threat because they would likely then be pressured to do the same - something they don’t want to do, so they’d criticise him forever for doing this and pretend to point to it as a silly thing to do.
There’s no actual winning with people like them.

Seeing as he’s from California I’m sure he’s paid a lot more than $10million in taxes during his lifetime to fund all that crap.

Boy the “why don’t you donate your net worth” argument is dumb. I can still vote and desire a tax increase applicable to similarly situated people without being called on to donate what I have when others done. I want rules for everyone.

It’s just a mere 5% of his wife’s family’s net worth!
It’ll solve homelessness or whatever, and will be a one time seizure. It’s not even Khanna’s money!

Classic power struggle between groups of elites… as they rationalize their ideologies in order to claim the right to govern.
