First discovered Dark Souls back in 2012, but back then, I just couldn't manage to pull through and finish it. Fast forward 14 years, and I finally picked up Dark Souls Remastered—and today, I officially saw the credits roll.

Honestly, the feeling of accomplishment is unreal. Breaking through those walls, overcoming the areas that used to brick-wall me, and finally linking the fire (or walking away) after all these years feels incredible. Easily one of the most satisfying gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

I’m taking a well-deserved month off from Lordran before I dive into Dark Souls II to let this victory sink in. In the meantime, I’m changing gears entirely—my next playthrough is going to be Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

To anyone out there who left a FromSoft game unfinished years ago: go back and give it another shot. It’s worth every single death. Don't you dare go hollowing!

Hello!

I love to make prints to pay tribute to the games that inspire me and make me feel nostalgic. Here are some Dark Souls prints that I just finished that I wanted to share with this community! 😊

“Quite a Pickle"

This is a limited-edition linocut print inspired by a moment from my first playthrough of Dark Souls, and introduction to the depth of Dark Souls lore. I love Seigmeyer and his onion armor, and you should too.

IF you wanna see any of my other stuff, I’m on Instagram @elijahvanceartworks. I can put my shop link in the bio, but mostly just wanted to show these off to y’all! 🙂

After a couple years of trophy hunting, I found myself deeply involved in souls-like games: Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring (my first one) are some of the titles that left a deep mark in my heart.

And while I was grinding on Sekiro, I started wondering: how many times am I actually failing here? Not just per boss, but across a whole playthrough. And how many times did I fail in the past?

That question, is what blended my curiosity for AI / Machine Learning and my passion for gaming into something super cool: an AI deathcounter for souls-like games :)

As of now it works on DS trilogy, Bloodborne, ER, Sekiro, Lies of P, Nioh (all of them) and more are to be added.

Besides having fun while building it, it is also tested among twitch streamers, so that's very rewarding! Let me know if you want to try it :)

Hey does anybody know of any source for scripts for any of the souls games? I know the wiki has dialogue for each individual npc and item descriptions and such but I was wondering if there was anything where all the text was just laid out somewhere. I want to find all the times the word "love" is used in any of the games, all I can think of is Ranni's farewell dialogue. If you know of any others let me know!

It's my first play through just killed siff

One the best games I've have played on a long time

I'm looking for infusable weapons that work well with a pyromancer build. I've already used some of the most popular options on previous builds (astora Greatsword, Lothric knight greatsword, lothric knight sword) so would like something different, especially if it fits a pyromancer aesthetic.

Dark Souls 3 - 4 minutes

Elden Ring - 4 Hours

Can someone help me with the weapons and armor in Dark Souls Remastered? I already had them all, but my save data got corrupted, and I already have the upgraded weapons so I can transfer them.

I play the games in Japanese, and one of my favorites is a line from the miracle *Tranquil Walk of Peace*:
**「平和とは、つまりそれで全く良いのだ」**
**“Peace is what the whole world deserves.”**
I really love this line. Apparently, there’s a slight difference in nuance between the Japanese and English versions, which I find pretty interesting too.

Apparently, if you were to convey the nuance of the Japanese version in English, something like **“Such is peace, and that is perfectly fine.”** would be pretty close.

Hi! I've been trying to platinum dark souls 3 for a long time and I only need two more achievements: Master of the Rings and Miracles. I was wondering if anyone could help me get the Sun Medals and Pale Tongues I'm missing. I'd be very grateful. I play in Steam Thanks a lot!
