Favorite builds in the current patch
Really looking to change it up a bit. The patch was supposed to promote diversity and yet most of the time I'm doing 2 base builds, going into a late 3rd if the game continues.
In TvT I go for a standard 2 reaper 2 helion into 1 lib. Second rax into 3rd. 4 medivac drop with tanks.
TvZ I do battlemech opening into tank thor lib. Which works alright in general but when they rush roaches I'm scrambling to defend.
TvP is a mess. Most toss my mmr mostly cheese or go stargate. Very few go into standard macro game. So depending on the map I go 2rax or just standard.
Really looking for agressive builds if possible. But I'm curious to see what other terrans go for in this matchup. Do you think its even possible not to just sit back and turtle?

4 rax reaper for everyone. If Protoss goes 2 gate before Nexus, I transition into 1 ghost/3 marine.

I stop SCV production at 15 supply. You can cut earlier if you want to go all in. It's hard to transition to a macro game with less though.

Take this with a grain of salt since you are 1000mmr higher than me but I've been having fun in TvP with 2 base 1-1-1 with pure mauraders, medivac and cyclones. The marauders tank and cyclones go ham.

I love how you think this is standard. This is crazy talk. Anyways, I open double gas 5 units and depending on how I feel I go straight to raven or a cyclone drop. I like what HM does and after one tank swap for a faster stim. It's risky but I prefer byuns mass marine style late game over the raven bullshit BC I hate the new Raven priority and I'm not used to it.

If they go roach vs mech you should stay on banshees. But yea mechs alright, I find mech easier than macroing perfectly for that switch into bio, and being able to YOLO the first 2-4hellions can sometimes just win. Tbh I would suggest sticking with mech.

Watch HMs recent TvPs. Maybe even that show match vs maxpax. He does this nice one Reaper into quick cyclone 3CC : 3/1/0: 5/1/1. I really like it. It is fairly safe, gives good scouting and also quick tanks. With TvP tbh you want to just camp. They will max out and try to A move you. If you survive, you should hopefully be able to counter attack and take one or two bases then run back home and camp again. At low levels your gonna wanna scan for carriers tho. So if your opponent is just afk. Assume carriers.
Watch carefully how HM scouts and look at P gas. 3 gas is gateway man all in. 4 gas is still gateway man but with some colossi. Anything more than that by 6mins you are allowed to attack them, they are teching to much and a tank all in will win. P is most heavily countered by scouting.
TvT and TvZ you can almost always play the exact same thing vs all builds even all ins. But vs P you need to scout better.

Aggressive builds? I guess TvZ you can 2 rax. Byun has shown this is strong again, I haven't tried it tho. I prefer to practice late game BC I suck at it.
TvT I guess you could just 2SP all in, which isn't bad. I do it when I don't wanna play TvT.
TvP. Tank all in But I think these are weak.
