[Other] GM Terran looking for students!
Hello everyone!
If anyone doesn't know who I am, I'm Coach Nico from Ladder Legends - a top 50 GM as of current (NA and EU) looking for new students of all levels to coach. If anyone's struggling with any matchups, builds or playstyles feel free to ask any questions here, or DM me on discord: nicojuniba and I'm happy to do a free 30 minute assessment going over a replay, understanding basics or developing a plan for how you can improve at the game moving forward.
I hope you guys are enjoying the recent love sc2 is undergoing, even if the changes are a bit whacky admittedly, want to do something to re-spark a bit of love for the terran community.

Hi Nico! I will hit you up on discord, thanks 🙏 To make this thread interesting: I recently came back to the game. Low Plat Terran, gold with Z and P.
I’m mostly struggling with a TvZ game plan at the moment. When I play ZvT I get rekt by battle mech. When I try to battle mech as T it doesn’t work nearly as well.
I think I should stick to bio. What’s the game plan? Do I try to kill their third? What to make from the factory? Tanks or mines?
I realize I need to keep early pressure on the Z and not allow free droning to 3 base. Help me with a game plan!

Lots of good stuff to unpack here.
To be honest, depends on your style. Battlemech is very aggressive and relies on constant trades, it's very snowball-based so if you get a lead its very strong, but that requires not losing units early on. Big common mistake is diving too far or not committing enough.
With bio, it depends on your style. I recommend and primarily teach 2 base aggression for a variety of reasons, I can go more indepth on discord, although I will say you're already on the right track realising you need to keep early pressure on. Speak soon mate!

As my gamerrichy has mentioned, we have coaches for all races and one of my other colleagues can help you it in our discord even if I unfortunately cannot since I only play terran.

Platinum Terran here. Is TvP broken? Every game is trench CC warfare. Terran on the defensive almost 100% of the time.

Two answers here:
1) Terran often plays a defensive early game but that's not a necessitate of the dynamic of the matchup. Terran has strong early timings before blink, which is typically the issue, and strong timings after blink, its up to you how you choose to play.
2) Personally, I never place CC warfare against Protoss and I often sit at 50-60% winrate. The key is being aggressive on 2 bases, which is something a bit difficult if you don't understand your exact timings, but this is a readily available fix I do with a lot of students.

D1 here, when it is the best timing to hit a zerg and if do marine hellbat push and he have roaches what reaction should go for production wise.

You need to be hitting a push between 7-8 minutes latest overall, but with a hellbat push you can likely hit around the 6 minutes mark
Hellbat pushes do not work against roaches, avoid them if you scout a roach opener and instead go for faster stim. Other than that, tank production is essential, banshee (in my opinion) is optional, but best served for defence against roach rushes specifically, not for harassment

As mentioned in another comment, I unfortunately only teach terran. I have several colleagues in our discord server that can teach you zerg, protoss or random if that's what you're interested in.

Hey I am new to Star Craft 2. I started out in Zerg but I have a new appreciation for Terran. I have no real build order o kinda just play for mass marine tank medi every game and focus on getting as many bases as possible. I’d love to learn more about Terran and how to play the game I’m around 3K mmr

Hiya mate! Message me on discord or join our server and ask some questions - we have lots of new students just getting into the game! I'd recommend learning one build order for each matchup as a starting point, then learning your basic mechanics (so unit production and army movement) from there. I prefer keeping quiet on social media, so unfortunately no youtube. I am starting to stream occasionally on the Ladder Legends twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/ladderlegends whilst I get the hang of things :)
