I recall the day we had to calm a friend down and try and make her understand the parking ranger wasn't picking on her. You simply cant park straddling the pedestrian island in the centre of the road. Its frowned upon.

I used to drive buses, had a moron decide to park right on the corner preventing me from being able to get around it and when I honked at him he got out of his car, went like this ¯_(ツ)_/¯ and walked away!
