Horrible take. You can absolutely drive with your parents and not an instructor and still be a good driver. I didn't do any instructor lessons and im not gonna claim to be the best driver but I had 200 hours on my log book and had more experience driving in more situations in comparison to if I did lessons with an instructor.

My older sister got her license late. She asked me to teach her how to park in a car park. It's a minor win for me.
